Terms of Service

1. What Hall of Badges is
Hall of Badges (hallofbadges.de, the Twitch channel twitch.tv/hallofbadges and our social media accounts) is a free fan project that shows Twitch chat badges: how to get them, until when, and where. It is operated by Felix Karges (contact: hallofbadges@gmail.com, full address in the imprint). Hall of Badges is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Twitch, Amazon, TikTok, Google/YouTube, Discord or any game publisher. All badge names, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
2. Accounts
You can use most of the site without an account. To collect badges, earn points and appear on leaderboards you log in with Twitch; we only receive the data described in our privacy policy. You can make your profile private, export your data or delete your account at any time under “Account & data”.
3. Points, levels and achievements
Points (XP), levels, achievements, cards and similar rewards are for fun only. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money or goods, and we may adjust, reset or remove them, for example to fix errors or stop abuse.
4. Fair use
Don't abuse the site: no bots or automated requests, no attempts to manipulate points or leaderboards, no multiple accounts for rewards, no harassment, spam or illegal content in our Twitch chat or Discord. We may remove points, hide profiles or block accounts that break these rules.
5. Badge information
Badge data comes from Twitch and other public sources and is updated automatically. We do our best to keep it correct, but campaigns can change or end without notice. Please always check the conditions on Twitch – we can't guarantee that you will receive a badge.
6. Our videos and social media posts
We create short videos and posts about Twitch badges and publish them automatically on our own accounts (for example TikTok, YouTube and Bluesky). These integrations only post content we created to accounts we own; they do not post on behalf of visitors or access visitors' social media accounts.
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided free of charge and “as is”, without guarantee of availability or correctness. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and as required by mandatory law (e.g. injury to life, body or health); otherwise our liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms when the service changes. The current version is always available on this page. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
9. Law
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
